Description
The French School is an example of the critical process on modern architecture and the evolution that occurred due to the influence of the Inquiry published as “Popular Architecture in Portugal” in 1961, that Carvalho Dias was part of. Adjacent to the gardens of Serralves, this group of several shapes irregularly distributed in the land was subjected to several extensions. The most recent one brought a new glass building, carefully integrated, allowing the revaluation of the design of the blocks built in the 1960s.
