Description
The Quinta da Conceição [Conceição Farm] is a Municipal Park that is the result of the union of two farms. The intervention by Fernando Távora maintains some existing elements, like the chapel, and reintegrates paths, vegetation, support walls, where the new converges with the environment. The Tennis Pavilion and the Pool (by Álvaro Siza) punctuate our architectural experience. Besides the agreeableness and the characteristics of the intervention, it is also a project that reflects the discussion of the time, eloquently, aiming at creating continuity on the conquests of modern architecture over tradition.
