Description
Two buildings, one horizontal and one vertical, make an elevated square in the middle of Boavista Avenue, punctuated by a sculpture by Ângelo de Sousa. The elevations, quite abstract, are the result of the “piling” of modular elements, suggesting that it is higher than its 18 storeys than in fact it is. Visit one of the key-works of the surpassing of the domestic scale with which Eduardo Souto de Moura started his path. Have in account the “playing” with the scale and construction, namely the way the horizontal volume is finished off revealing its construction scheme.
