Description
An early work, this group is already a testimony of the quality of José Carlos Loureiro’s work, expressed in many constructions of the period. A singular example of the adaptation of the principles of the Modern Movement to the context of Porto, the Parnaso – that owes its name to the Music and Ballet School housed in the building – has an indoor garden to which the dwellings face. Visit the garden, the commissioner’s apartment and pay attention to the use of materials, to the way the volumes are organized, to the bridges and circulation galleries.
